This 2017 Cadillac Escalade Is Real ‘Bling-Tastic’

We Write this in a good way

In 1999, Cadillac launched the first Escalade, which was nothing more than a cheap GMC Yukon Denali. At the beginning, it came as an emergency response to the Lincoln Navigator, which was then quite new. However, unlike the Lincoln Navigator, the Escalade evolved into a more refined and luxurious SUV throughout the years. The Escalade, which is currently in its 4th generation, continues to be a successful model of Cadillac, and as its reputation increase, its price tag increases as well.

For instance, try a base tag price of 73,965 dollars. The 2017 Escalade AWD Platinum, or in other words, our tester, requires you to bring the check from your bank account to your Cadillac dealership for incredibly 95,405 dollars. Yes, you’re right, that’s a chunk of change.

But, it’s the engine that we love actually about this Escalade. It has a 6.2 liter V8, 420 HP, and 460 lb-ft of torque. However, remember that the Escalade still keeps its traditional SUV body-on-frame chassis, which means that you can take this beast of a machine off road without having to break a sweat.  And, the style of its exterior is ‘bling-tastic’, obviously. We thank Woodlands Motor for allowing us to record this car.
