Dodge has revealed the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat and described it as the fastest, quickest and most powerful sedan in the world. The Charger SRT Hellcat has the same engine as its Challenger brethren, a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 that develops 707 HP and 650 lb-ft of torque. It has an eight speed automatic, and the sedan can clock an eleven-second quarter-mile, hit a top speed of 204 mph, goes from 0-60 mph in only 3.7 seconds, and go from standstill to 100 mph and back in less than 13 seconds.
Hellcat hallmarks include a unique blacked-out grille bordered by LED-infused headlights, an aggressive front fascia, a new rear bumper, twin exhaust, adaptive damping three-mode suspension, 20 inch alloy housing Brembo calipers, trunk mounted spoiler, a power-bulge aluminum hood with heat extractors and cold air intake. Inside, the Charger, the flat-bottomed steering wheel is connected by leather-wrapped heated/ventilated sport seats and Alcantara upholstery, an 18 speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, a digital instrument cluster and 8.4 inch display. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be set to enter production next year and the price will be similar to the $60k price tag of Challenger Hellcat.
