In your opinion, what is even more exciting than racing? Well, the crew from Nitro RCX take the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 on a test against their Badass Mad Drift and let them on a more than 300 feet runway. They created this video shooting the event.
By discharging their 1/8 scale platform on road car Exceed RC have really raised the stakes. The result is the MadDrift Brushless Drift Car – the tiny titan. This beast can hit the streets out of the box, but it also can flaunt with its unique look that leaves its rival buried in the dust. The victim that fell down in this case here is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2.
In case you didn’t know, the R/C cars for drifting are made for passage of a line in a well-controlled drift. The RC Drift model has a more accurate copy number of the body in a comparison with the aerodynamic bodies of those highway models, a copy number of wheels together with tires and a suspension tuning.
The Nitro RCX team, this time decided to use the R/C drifter for a little different purpose than drifting.
For the RC Drifts usually are used those models that have electric motors, from the time when the use of the internal combustion engine is meant by the use of an air-cooled engine that is not possible at low speeds. In the discipline, the electric engine allows to remove some persistent issues like refilling the tank, overheating the engine, noise indoors and corrosive exhaust gases.
So, the main reason why this RC car is so fast in the drag race is because it is electric, light as a feather and has nitro boost. It has more power to weight ratio. But the guys from Nitro RCW confessed that the Lambo would have obviously won in the long haul.
